Terret

A complete cast copper alloy mini terret, dating to the late Iron Age and early Roman periods. The terret is circular in plan, with a thick D-shaped hoop in cross-section. The lower part of the hoop is narrowed and to either side are two collars acting as a restriction for the strap. The reverse is flat. The surface is pitted and has a mid blueish-green patina.
