Treasure case 2010 T272: acquired by Museum of Somerset
A hoard of 52,498 copper alloy Roman radiates and 5 silver denarii. Found within a complete, but cracked, black burnished ware vessel. This vessel is decorated with a crude pattern of crossed grooves. A further smaller, upturned, dish-like vessel, was found on top, which appeared to fit perfectly.
