The coin is heavily clipped and identified as a penny by the diameter of the inner circle on the reverse side at 11mm, consistent with the type. The coin is from the Durham mint and has the crowned bust facing on the obverse and a long cross pattée with three pellets in each angle and a ‘D’ at the centre, to the reverse. It is probable that the coin was struck at the Durham Episcopal mint of John Sherwood but the ‘s’ to the obverse is illegible.","","","2010-04-17 17:11:19","2010-04-17 17:16:00","4","","","2009-12-01","","","","","1","","2","3","","","","","","rod","Rod Trevaskus","CPAT","rod","Rod Trevaskus","Silver","","","","Struck or hammered","","Complete","Poor","","","","","Metal detector","","Mr Rod Trevaskus","","Mr Rod Trevaskus","SHROPSHIRE","KNOCKIN","OSWESTRY","","","","SJ3322","SJ3332","SJ32SW","","","","","","","From Finder","crowned bust facing","[RICARD DEI GRA REX ANGL] ","long cross pattée with three pellets in each angle and a ‘D’ at the centre,","[CIVITAS DVRH]AM","Penny","5","","","","","","5","","","16","","","Regular","","2","","","","","2","","","","Richard III of England","","","","Durham","Extremely worn: poor","","English coin Late Medieval 1377 - 1489","","","","","277040","3056-0089a.jpg","images/rod/",
