UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT

Unique ID: YORYM-727414

A silver strip of uncertain date and function. The strip has a square section and tapers in at either end, both terminals are broken and the breaks are irregular. All four sides feature a small patch of cross-hatched markings, possibly machine made.

Barry Ager (British Museum) comments that: This object looks fairly modern and the pattern on the sides appear to be made by a machine, this object is therefore not reportable as Treasure.
