The object tubular wings and is a hinged example. The bow is decorated with two vertical wavy lines. One each side of the wavy lines is a vertical linear decoration. Each side of the bow is bordered by small horizontal grooves. Below this is a stepped strip of vertical grooves. The lower bow is decorated by three cross ribs which are decorated with vertical groove decoration. Between the lower two cross ribs is a panel of vertical grooves and ridges which is oval in plan. The foot is rounded and plain. The upper surface is gilded. The reverse is plain and the pin is missing. The catchplate is damaged and there is a small circular perforation through the catchplate.
