The object comprises a large oval ring, which expands in width to the base. The upper part of the ring is damaged, as the metal has torn through. Below this wider expanded area there is a rectangular strap loop. The loop itself has a squared section. The metal is a mid greenish-brown colour and is slightly pitted.  These object probably date from the late Iron Age to Roman period. A similar find was recorded as ESS-2B0EB5 onto the PAS database, found at Halstead, Essex.
