British trumpet brooch. Typical trumpet head leading to a fully rounded and developed acanthus moulding. A swivelling wire chain loop is inserted into a tubular bronze axis bar. The chaion loop clip is decorated with two incised horizontal lines. Foot ends in a knob. Catchplate intact, pin missing.
