A gilt copper-alloy horse harness pendant. The pendant is in two pieces; a quatrefoil frame with a matching pendant that swings freely within the frame.
The frame is in the form of a quatrefoil with a small externally protruding rib in each angle. The frame is triangular in cross-section. The top of the frame forms the suspension loop, below which the frame is pierced on either side to secure the pendant. The pendant is also in the form of a quatrefoil, comprising a square centre with four bulbous arms surrounding it. In the centre is a large bulbous headed copper-alloy rivet with a circular-sectioned shank that passes through the centre of the reverse.
The front has been gilded.
