Large body sherd from a fine to medium sand tempered cooking pot dating to the mid 13th to mid 14th century. It has a horizontal applied thumbed strip on the outer side. Above the strip is a carination where the pot flares out – possibly towards the rim. It is pale orange in colour with a core which is buff shading to dark grey in the centre. It weighs 66.45 grams and has one fresh and three slightly abraded breaks.
