The thimble has a rounded top with a series of concentric rings formed from indentations. The indentations on the side are more oval in shape and arranged in a waffle line design. There are three parallel incised lines below the indentations, then below this is a border featuring some floral motifs and drapery. The rim is decorated with another set of three parallel incised lines. 
This thimble is late 18th – 19th Century in date.
