It is bi-conical in form with a median band. The shaft is missing. The surfaces are extremely worn. It has a length of 10.65mm, width 9.15mm, thickness 4.54mm, weight 2.56g. For reference see SF-1A04D2 on the PAS database. Pins of this style can also be Roman, but the nature of the other finds from this site makes this unlikely.","This object and the attached records were recovered from a site which may be the location of an Early Medieval moot site, though later disturbance makes the site difficult to interpret. Archaeological work including trial trenching in advance of development has not yet revealed any further evidence. Most of the finds recovered through metal detecting are Early Medieval; material of this date is rare in West Yorkshire.","","2010-02-26 14:19:09","2011-02-24 13:52:42","4","0","1","2010-01-18","","","","","1","1","1","1","3","","","","","dcrowther","David Crowther","SWYOR","dpett","Daniel Pett","Copper alloy","","","","","","Incomplete","","Certain","EARLY MEDIEVAL","","","Metal detector","","","","Mr David Crowther","WEST YORKSHIRE","","LEEDS","","","","","SE4242","SE22NE","","","","","","Morley","From Map","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","240380","PAS_1007_pin_head.jpg","images/dcrowther/",
