A cast copper-alloy one-piece brooch of the late Iron Age to early Roman period.

The brooch is complete, missing only its pin. The pin spring has four coils with the cross bar passing under the coils. The bow is roughly uniform in breadth, but with a central peak down its length, across which is simple hatched decoration. The base of the bow flattens out to form the curved latch of the catchplate.
