There is a small area of cortex present and some modern damage but there at least three blade flake removal scars.
Jon Cotton notes that this assemblage of flint is not from one episode of activity within one period, rather it is part of the ‘background noise’ of typical material that would be widely found on floodplain areas. Similar assemblages are known in Richmond Park, the foreshore at Kew and Barnes.
