METAL WORKING DEBRIS

Unique ID: SUSS-EF8B82

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

Two pieces of solidified molton copper alloy. The pieces have very irregular shapes with old breaks on some sides and many air holes. They may be spills form casting or possibly part of a bloom of copper from smelting. They could also be the distorted remains of melted objects although if that was the case they have lost any original form and been melted at a considerable temprature. One weighs 75 grams, the other 109 grams.
