LITHIC IMPLEMENT

A worked flint flake of Neolithic date. The flake is long and wide with a D-shaped in section. The dorsal surface is flat and the worked edges are fairly shallow. The striking platform no longer remains but the bulb of percussion and ripples of percussion can still be seen. The flint is a light greyish-white colour with some darker flaws. There are no signs of cortex re-growth.
