A total of nine Roman tesserae with a combined total weight of 153.39g.
1) Six tesserae, one incomplete, that are roughly square in form and rectangular in section. They have extensive white encrustation probably as a result of mortar used to set the tesserae into the floor. They have a combined total weight of 92.58g.
2) Three similar tesserae but with darker red/grey upper surfaces, perhaps intended to represent a different colour, resultant from poor firing or exposure to high temperatures, or simply due to preservation in the ground. They have a combined total weight of 60.81g.
