A lead Russian bag or bale seal of post-medieval date. Both sides of the seal contain Russian text in relief. One side reads: [--]B // IEH.3. // H.N. // 1833. The other side reads: II:A. // N.M.MY // NOBb // N.25 . There are holes in the edges of the seal, which would have held the chord. The seal is a mid greyish-white colour and is worn.
