A collection of 54 Roman fired clay tile fragments, 2 fragments of limestone roof slabs, 15 sherds of Roman pottery, 2 pot-mends and one possible hone-stone fragment made of Ferruginous Sandstone. The majority of tile is roof tile although there are a few fragments of possible floor tile. The tile has abraded breaks. About 100 Roman coins were also discovered in the area. The coins have been recorded on the PAS db as individual finds.
This has been noted as an interesting find by the recorder.
