{"recordID":"268460","finds":[{"created2":"2009 09 10","description":"A Neolithic stone fragment from a polished axe (3500-2100BC). The fragment comprises the front curved edge of the axe with the typical pointed oval cross-section. There is considerable damage to the axe but it appears the surface has not been completely polished. The stone has the appearance of feldspar but needs further investigation. It is not a common stone to use for axes and its structure suggests the plates would represent a weakness. This axe has broken along one of these plates.\r\n\r\nDimensions: length: 44.77mm; width: 68.47mm; thickness: 31.83mm; weight: 72.90g.\r\n","notes":null,"old_findID":"LON-8C26E4","id":"268460","objecttype":"Lithic implement","classification":"Axe","subclass":null,"reuse":null,"created":"2009-09-10 10:12:26","broadperiod":"NEOLITHIC","updated":"2011-02-24 13:47:20","treasureID":null,"secwfstage":"4","secuid":"0014AA8C2FA01B54","findofnote":"0","objecttypecert":"1","datefound1":"2009-01-01","datefound2":null,"createdBy":"523","curr_loc":null,"inscription":null,"reason":null,"subsequentAction":"Returned to finder"}],"record":[{"id":"268460","old_findID":"LON-8C26E4","uniqueID":"0014AA8C2FA01B54","objecttype":"Lithic implement","classification":"Axe","subclass":null,"length":"44.77","height":null,"width":"68.47","thickness":"31.83","diameter":null,"quantity":"1","other_ref":null,"treasureID":null,"broadperiod":"NEOLITHIC","numdate1":"-3500","numdate2":"-2100","description":"A Neolithic stone fragment from a polished axe (3500-2100BC).
