<description>
<full>One arm from a pair of cast copper alloy scissors of Medieval date (1350&#45;1450). At one end is part of the offset circular finger&#45;loop. The surviving part of the loop is slightly convex (almost flat) on the outside and convex on the inside. It extends to a square section arm, each face of which is decorated with raised decorative lines and with small knops along the length of the four corners of the arm. The arm is broken at the angled hinge. Decoration on the small part the surviving hinge plate is in the form of a double (concentric) pointed oval motif.
