This is a one-piece brooch with blilateral spring of four turns and internal chord.  The bow is flat with a solid catch-plate.  The majority of the spring and pin is missing, only part of the first turn of the spring is remaining.  The bow is decorated with a stamped zig zag pattern extending from the top of the bow to the foot.
