16 abraded body sherds of Severn Valley Ware vessels. The fabric has a light grey core and orange coloured surfaces and is quite soft and powdery. Only one sherd is decorated, and this is a linear groove. Together they weigh 170.51g. The fabric is probably Severn Valley Ware, and date Roman period, 1st to 4th centuries. (Webster, P 1976 ‘Severn Valley Ware: A Preliminary Study’ Transactions of the Bristol and Gloucestershire Archaeological Society Vol. 94).
