The object is formed from an oval domed, with a flat reverse. The front surface has a raised ring and dot. The dot stands proud of the enamelled ring, which is a mid brownish-red colour. On the reverse is an open rectangular loop, which is set into the otherwise flat surface. The loop is infilled with corroded iron.
