Silver finger ring. The ring a shallow D-sectioned band and a separately applied heart-shaped bezel. The bezel is decorated with chevrons of incised lines and, flanking it, the band has been decorated with incised horizontal lines (five on each side). The ring has been bent out of shape.

Late medieval to early Post-medieval (15th to 16th century)
Dimensions: 23.65 mm x 18.78 mm x 5.40 mm
Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
