This find appears to be a corner broken off a block of white metal; width, 30 mm. It has no diagnostic features and so is undatable without a secure archaeological context. Due to the undiagnostic nature of the find it can not be securely dated to pre-1707 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.
