A Mesolithic – Neolithic flint blade flake (c.8,300-2,100BC). This is a secondary flake with approximately 5% cortex remaining on the dorsal surface. There are three blade flake removal scars also on the dorsal surface. There is some damage to this flake and both the distal and proximal ends are missing. Along the sides there are chips which may be signs of use or damage.
