An incomplete silver buckle of Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1680 - c. AD 1720. The buckle frame has fragments of an iron spindle surviving within each drilled hole. The front convex face of the frame on both sides of the spindle housings is decorated with evenly spaced transverse grooves. The underside is plain, slightly bevelled and worn.

Discovery: Found by Mr Peter Sivell while metal-detecting in January 2009.
