A Post Medieval pottery incomplete ointment pot (1790s-19th century). This is a biscuit-fired tin-glazed ointment pot with flared pedestal base and small everted rim. The majority of the rim and part of the body is missing as is all the white tin-glaze exposing the pink-buff fabric.
Identified by Roy Stephenson Medieval and Post Medieval pottery specialist.
