This point has been made from a metatarsal (hind foot) possibly from a cervid.  The bone’s morphology has been used to give this point its triangular fluted cross-section.  The bone was shaped using a flint tool leaving characteristic striations.  It has snapped at an angle across the shaft.  Alan Pipe suggests that it snapped during use rather than post deposition.
