The pipe has good amount of the shaft still attached to the bowl. The bowl has convex and bulbous sides, thinning towards the open end, where there is a rough incision around the opening. Beneath the transition from shaft to bowl, there is a small knop, squared off at the base. The pipe is creamy white in colour and measures 109.3mm x 28.45mm x 10.5mm, weighing 22.03g. This type of clay pipe is dated to the 16th- early 17th century.
