The item has two components, firstly there is an elongated rectangular shape which is slightly concave. At the base the item is the most wide and thick, however this gradually tapers towards the top. At the top there is an expanded probable suspension loop. The loop was likely to be for suspension because the upper edge of the loop is worn. The second component of the item protrudes from just below the loop and forms a sub-semi circular shape and joins the first component towards the lower end of the item. This second component has been twisted as decoration and is quite worn on the underside because the twist effect is not as prominent..
