Incomplete side knob from an Early Saxon florid cruciform brooch, cast sub-rectangular Style I mask with large eyebrows, eyes, nose and prominent moustache, integral longitudinal tube on reverse for pin bar. 21 x 19mm. Leeds and Pocock's (1971) Group V. Late 6th/early 7th century.
