Late Anglo-Saxon or Anglo-Scandinavian finger-ring, now distorted, with narrow hoop expanding into a flat ovoid bezel marked at one end by a transverse engraved line and a group of faintly incised lines at the other, and decorated with twenty stamped ring-and-dots, some overlapping. The missing ends of the hoop would have originally have been wound round each other; compare Rogerson 1995 (EAA 74), fig. nos. 23-4. 10th century
