The handle is incomplete, lacking both ends and only the body surviving. The primary element is a curved rib, triangular in section that forms the main body of the handle. At the peak and running along 50% of the remaining handle is a flange to either side of the rib, such that it appears that the rib is running through the length of a pointed oval. The rib is raised on the upper surface, but the underside of the flanges are flush with the rib.","","","2008-09-09 13:30:18","2011-02-24 13:47:52","4","0","1","2008-08-05","","","","","","1","1","1","3","","3","1","","rcollins","Robert Collins","NCL","dpett","Daniel Pett","Copper alloy","","","","Cast","","Incomplete","","Certain","IRON AGE","ROMAN","","Metal detector","","Dr Robert Collins","","Dr Robert Collins","NORTH YORKSHIRE","DALTON","RICHMONDSHIRE","","","","NZ1108","NZ4150","NZ10NW","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","186738","DSCN8243.JPG","images/rcollins/",
