End fragment from the side bar of a late Medieval - early Post Medieval purse bar frame (1450-1550 AD). The bar is hexagonal with an old break at one end. The other end terminates in a large oval knop with a collar between it and the bar. It appears to be made of a high tin alloy with lead. It is 32.3mm long, the knop is 10.5mm in diameter and the bar 5.9mm; it weighs 5.78 grams.

    I don't know what this is but suspect it's post medieval. It is not purse-related, being of lead alloy. Can it be re-classified as Unidentified please
