This ring has a plain hoop of the same width all the way round, the bezel set with a carnelian intaglio seal stone with a shield containing three eagles displayed with a crescent moon top centre. The shape of this ring suggests a date in the early to mid-18th century. As the find dates to later than 1706 it falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.
