Description:
A complete small square silver brooch. The frame is rectangular in cross section and each side is decorated with two collars containing slightly convex section between. The collar is only visible on the top and outer face. There is a restriction for the pin at one corner and a small notch for the lip at the opposing corner. The silver pin is intact.
The object fulfils the Treasure Act (1996) in that it is more than 300 years old and has a precious metal content exceeding 10%.
