Copper-alloy bow brooch; Langton Down type. The bow, which is at right angles to the spring case, has a squared top and tapers in to the centre, before expanding out at the foot. The upper bow is decorated with three wide, shallow grooves, which terminate, before continuing on the foot. The spring is housed in a cylindrical spring-case, which is plain. The narrow pin is incomplete and bent.. The short catchplate is intact, although the edge is missing.
