Vessel

Unique ID: DENO-E16F73

Object type certainty: Certain

Post medieval vessel; base sherd of pottery of probable post medieval date. The sherd has concentric circular ridges across the exterior face, indicative of where the vessel has been cut off the wheel with wire. However, the sherd is too small to give any indication of the form of the vessel. The fabric is an oxidised, orange-red material with many tiny crystalline inclusions.

Length 32.2mm, width 31.8mm, thickness 5.1mm, weight 6.70g
