The fragment measures 51.2mm blade tip to blade tip. The socket measures 32mm across. The cutting edge is corroded; therefore the original surface has been lost. The outer surfaces have a mid brownish-green patina. The object is noticeably less worn within the socket. The breaks are well worn. Socketed axes date to the Late Bronze Age.
