Object type certainty: Certain
Treasure case No: 2005 T209
This circular mount for a stone, with petalled border, twisted wire and claw setting is unlikely to be earlier than the late 19th century. The fragmentary bar at the back suggests that it may have served as a sleeve or dress stud. It does not fall within the Treasure Act.
