An incomplete copper-alloy late Anglo-Saxon bit-link. One terminal is now incomplete due to old breaks. The complete terminal is an oval shaped loop, there is then a rounded boss and a rectangular shaft with a D-shaped section, the fragments of the incomplete terminal perhaps imply that it was also oval in shape. It measures 45.71mm in surviving length, the surviving terminal is 21.76mm in width and the shaft is 8.14mm in width. Other similar bit links are known from elsewhere for example Brockham, Surrey (Williams, 2007, unpublished).
