Fragment of possible Romano-British belt or buckle plate, rectangular with two engraved longitudinal grooves bordered by engraved lines and two engraved lines bordering outside edge(s) of plate (one edge very damaged). The attachment end of the plate has one tiny central rivet-hole and remains of two flanking rivet-holes (broken, corners of plate missing). The other end of the plate has two evenly spaced damaged notches. Metal pale green. >27 x 25mm.
