A cast copper-alloy decorative mount most likely to be medieval or early post medieval in date. The head has six triagular lobes and has a rounded front face and hollow back face, it is 31.43mm in diameter. Projecting from the centre of the back face there is an integral square sectioned spike.c15.37mm in length.
