Copper alloy stirrup strap mount, Williams Class A, Type 1A. The mount is pentagonal and has a pierced apex and two further rivet holes at the base. Each rivet hole is filled with iron corrosion. There base has a rearward lip. The face of the mount is decorated with a relief interlace design.
This is likely to be an example of a Williams Class A, Type 1A. This type was defined by Webley (2014, 353-4) as a relief-decorated variant of Williams's Class A, Type 1.
