A plated copy of a denarius of Augustus, copying a denarius of 7-6 BC with Gaius and Lucius Caesar on the reverse, minted at Lyon. c.f. RIC I, p. 55, reverse as no. 207; c.f. BMC I, plate 14, no. 7 for a copy with head left.

This has been noted as an interesting find by the recorder.
