It is formed on a tertiary flake which is rounded at both ends. Both edges are retouched, but they are also extensively damaged. It is similar to a plano-convex knife on page 171 of \u201cPrehistoric Flintwork\u201d by Chris Butler (2005), but is less invasively worked.
