Cast copper alloy petal boss fitting dating from the Late Iron Age to the Roman period. The fitting has a classic petal boss form, this being a tear-drop shape in plan with a raised, circular boss in the centre. On the reverse, the boss shows as a concavity. There is a lug on the reverse; this has a straight, subrectangular-sectioned shaft with a lug, positioned at a right angle to the shaft. There is a casting seam along one side of the shaft.
