A medieval brooch pin with a bulbous collar and a small loop for attachment to the frame of the brooch. The pin is of slender proportions and circular in section. It is bent at a little more than half way down the shaft. The reconstructed length of the pin is 18mm. The pin is silver and is of thirteenth or fourteenth century date.
