Copper alloy folding spoon; handle and bowl detached; iron linking pin for hinge missing; mandolin-shaped bowl deeply recessed with the remains of a white metal coating on the inner surface; hinge-plate at back of bowl set at right-angles to plane of bowl, remains of iron cross-pin through perforation; handle is in the form of a profiled lion, the outstretched front legs develop into a slot which engages with the flange on the bowl; the moulded head is placed behind the slot; the underside of the handle has a deeply recessed groove; handle broken at other end.
